Hold on! I’m talking about cameras not guns. One of the most interesting and exciting places in the world to film a movie is Western Canada. To really pinpoint the best spot, I vote for Vancouver Island. We booked our entire crew at the Best Western Inner Harbour Hotel. The drama we were filming included shots of the Parliament buildings, the Royal BC Museum, Beacon Hill Park and some street scenes. We could not have selected a better Victoria hotel. We were within walking distance of all the necessary locations. You can’t believe how easy that was on our budget.
There are many great wines that aren’t ridiculously priced. Also, there are many that are over priced. Since I am far from qualified to make these evaluations, I must rely on others to guide me. I must say that as the years go by, my palate is maturing to the point where I can’t afford what wines please it. I have heard from friends that The Hemisphere Wine Club is the best way to go if you have a desire to acquire these better vintages. I compared a few prices at the club for the bottles I loved. My immediate response was, “I’ll drink to that.”
