Why is it that every year, we are treated to the most exotic fashion designers visa-vie, the Oscars? Where are these talented creators the remainder of the year? Do they really sell these fashions? Or, are they just bait?

Praise God! We only have to endure the world’s most egotistical demographic but once a year. Pomp and circumstance prevailed from minute one to the dreary end. Won’t see you next year…..
It really took amazing ingenuity to create the incredible adapted screenplay for this story line. What was seemingly a narrow interest group got expanded to worldwide interest due to Sorkin’s genius.
Isn’t it amazing that more people watch the Oscars to see who is wearing what. Many people who haven’t seen any of the movies that are nominated still find great entertainment connected with the fashion as opposed to the films themselves.
Isn’t it great that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences finally recognizes the incredible talent required to produce such amazing work like the animated films of recent time, by allowing Toy Story 3 to be nominated in the Best Picture category?
I had great hope that the new format (two hosts) would make the usually drawn out Academy Awards more digestible. Unfortunately, these two didn’t do it. Where is my AlkaSeltzer.
I guess the British once again reminded us of the incredible wealth of talent our European ancestors have blessed us with. This performance was spectacular!
Every year I’ve seen the Oscar’s, there have always been five Best Movie nominations. I am told this year, there were ten to enhance a wider scope of viewership. Did it work?
Natalie Portman’s exquisite performance was more than awesome. I could actually relate to her eerie state of mind throughout the film. Congratulations on winning the Oscar, you earned it!
I was happy to see that my favorite movie of the year took the oscar. Collin Firth’s performance could not go unrecognized. It was obviously the best of the year. Good to see justice has been done.
